Hailey James, M. Ed., BCBA

Hailey is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with experience serving early learners with Autism Spectrum Disorder in academic and clinical settings. Hailey holds a Master of Education Degree with a focus in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of Cincinnati. Prior to moving to the Bay Area, Hailey lived in Columbus, where she earned her B.A. in English Literature and Theatre at The Ohio State University. During this time, she served as a teaching artist in the Shakespeare and Autism Project and volunteered with students with intellectual and developmental disabilities as a social and educational coach. 

Hailey is passionate about functional communication individualized to each learner, implementing assent-based care, and interdisciplinary collaboration. She believes that naturalistic behavior therapy, social skill development, and evidence-based practices are the key to supporting learners in any environment.

In her spare time, Hailey enjoys traveling, reading, hiking, listening to podcasts, trying new cuisine, attending concerts, and spending quality time with her husband and their rescue dog.
